A hand-assembled commercial-grade-gym Bluetooth force sensor
What this is
A complete, hand-built 80 Hz Bluetooth force sensor in a Weiheng WH-C100 body. We start with the same WH luggage scale we recommend on the homepage, swap the radio and firmware for our high-rate Crimpdeq retrofit, harden the anchor, and ship the finished thing. You charge it, pair it, lift. No screwdriver, no soldering iron, no install video.
Why a consumer would buy this instead of the kit
- You don’t want to solder. The retrofit kit is the cheaper path ($59.99) but it asks for two pads, a Phillips screwdriver, and 15 minutes of patience. If that’s a no-go for you — or your gym, your athletes, your clinic — pay the assembled price and get on with training.
- You want a Tindeq Progressor for less than half the price. Speaks the same BLE characteristic as a Tindeq Progressor, so any app that already supports a Progressor — including tensr.fitness — pairs with this sensor on the first try. 80 Hz, the same metrics, $129.99 instead of $300+.
- You want one of five. This is a hand-built initial run. When the five are gone they’re gone, and the next batch goes up only after the first round of customers has had a month with the hardware.
What’s in the box
- Assembled WH-C100 sensor — Weiheng C100 chassis, our pre-flashed ESP32-C3 BLE module, our hardened load-cell harness, our steel anchor. Tested on the bench before it ships; serial-numbered.
- USB charging cable — the C100’s built-in rechargeable battery lasts a normal training week on a single charge.
- Carabiner + 12 mm webbing loop — clip into anything: rack pin, cable column, TRX, gym ring, doorway anchor.
- Printed quick-start card — pair it in 30 seconds. No firmware update path required for end users; updates (if any) are over-the-air.

Who this is for
- The lifter who wants Progressor data without Progressor money. You’ve priced a Tindeq, you’ve done the math, you’d rather spend the difference on bands or coaching.
- The clinician or coach standardising on one sensor. Tindeq-protocol compatibility means this slots into whatever app your athletes already use — yours, ours, theirs.
- The friend of someone who bought the retrofit kit. They got the $59.99 path. You looked at the soldering iron and said no thanks. Same data, no DIY.
What this is not
Not a medical device Not a Tindeq product (Tindeq is a separate company; we’re protocol-compatible, not
affiliated) Not a subscription Not locked to tensr.fitness — works with the Tindeq and Frez apps too, plus any other app
that speaks the Tindeq protocol
How it works with the tensr.fitness app
- Charge it. Plug in the included cable. The first charge out of the box takes about 90 minutes.
- Pair in the app. Open app.tensr.fitness in Chrome or Edge, click Pair sensor, pick the device. The app recognises it as an 80 Hz Tindeq-compatible source automatically — RFD and ms-precision tempo metrics light up.
- Train. Clip the carabiner between your anchor and your handle. Hit start. Every set gets the full force-time curve, time under tension, impulse, peak force, and session-over-session comparisons. All local. All exportable. Yours.
Honest fine print
- Hand-built, limited run. Five units in this batch. Each one is bench-tested, hand tested for Quality Control.
- Built on a real WH-C100. The chassis, load cell, and battery are stock Weiheng. The radio, firmware, and anchor — the parts holding back the data — and leave the parts that already work.
- Ships from the US. Typical delivery 3–5 business days.
- Tindeq is a trademark of Tindeq AS. We’re not them. We speak their BLE characteristic because it’s the de-facto standard for this category, and because their product is genuinely good.
- Warranty: 12 months on the electronics, against manufacturing defects. Send a video, we’ll ship a replacement or refund.
